My husband asked me to take this photo of him putting on the 16th green in front of Mount Etna near Taormina, Sicily. He thought this was a huge green with dramatic undulations. Not being a golfer, I do not know if he was just pulling my leg. What do you think? |

Grand Theatre Restoration Project

 I just love this building!! Here I am (standing) working on my favorite "real estate" project, restoration of the Grand Theatre. This 1919 Historic Landmark was closed in the late 1950's. After that clogged gutters allowed standing rain water to rot through the huge wooden trusses. Eventually the whole roof collapsed.  I have grown accustomed to the open air atmosphere of the theatre and am lobbying the nonprofit organization that owns the building to replace the roof with a removable one like the AstroDome. What are your thoughts?
